Guidlines
Requirements [top]

The requirements for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings are - beside payment of the registration fee in time - that you

  1. address all reviewers' comments,
  2. use the INDIN 2007 paper template,
  3. follow 100% the formatting and PDF generation rules
(the submission system checks the camera ready
version more strictly than the draft version!),
  4. do not exceed the 6-page limit, and
  5. upload your final version latest by APRIL 15th 2007.
  6. present your work at the conference.

The proceedings will be printed black and white, so avoid color images. During uploading, the copyright of your paper will be transferred to IEEE.

Papers are either presented in panel sessions or in an interactive session (a.k.a. poster session):

Panel presentations [top]
Panel presentations are to be done via PPT or PDF presentations with approximately 20 minutes of time (including questions). Laptop computers and digital projectors for presentation are available, bring your files on a USB thumb drive or CD.
If you have only hand written transparencies, please mail black-and-white A4 paper copies to the conference secretariat, we will scan it into a PDF file for presentation.

Poster presentations [top]

Print the poster by yourself and bring it with you. The presentation is interactive and has typically more time, and a larger and very interested audience. Poster format is ISO A0 (1189 x 841 mm, 46.81 x 33.11 inch). There are no restrictions in layout. The poster must include the following parts of your paper:

  • the full title and all authors
  • the abstract
  • all (important) figures
  • the problem statement
  • the solution
